Paris is like a sweet dream that you wish you’d never wake up from. A romantic city full of energy, and full of secrets. If you listen carefully, the city whispers in your ears beautiful lyrics of forgotten love songs and rhymes of old poems. Wherever you walk, ancient history contrasts with modernity, causing me to be perpetually awestruck.
The first time I went to Paris, my neck hurt so much because I couldn’t stop looking up at the tall buildings (the Eiffel Tower, the Arch of Triumph, etc) and the stunningly beautiful Haussmann buildings. I fell in love with the architecture, with this feeling of grandeur everywhere, and of course with the delicious food! I’m sure the feeling will be the same this time! I will spend one week in Paris, before flying to Stockholm, the love of my life.
My love for Sweden goes way back and can hardly be explained in a rational way. I just love the culture, the language, the people, the food, the mentality, … I simply cannot wait to go back to this beautiful and peaceful land that is so close to my heart! It will finally feel like my heart is home and my soul is at peace again.
Paris and Stockholm are two highly fashionable cities with very distinct styles. Since I like to travel light, it will be hard to blend with the local fashion scene, but I’ll try my best 😉 Clothing-wise, my suitcase will consist mostly of basics; a simple black dress, comfy black pants, ripped jeans, etc.

Shoe-wise: anything comfy will work because I walk A LOT when I travel. This means I’ll bring running shoes (a fashion faux pas in Paris but a fashion statement in Stockholm), my good old Birkenstock sandals and a cute pair of sandals.

I’m a beauty junkie who likes to take a break from makeup in the summer 😉 So makeup-wise, I won’t be bringing a lot of products for 2 reasons: in the summer, I like to wear less makeup (aka none, most of the time), and also I want to spend as much time exploring the city rather than doing my makeup. For these reasons, I’ll bring minimum makeup and travel-sized products.

I feel very lucky to go on such an amazing trip! I am so impatient to be there and let my mind be amazed by all the lovely discoveries I will make. À bientôt/Vi ses snart!
