The wallet is a little empty after the holidays but you still wanna continue celebrating and treating yourself? You will love to hear that the Happening Gourmand is back for its 10th anniversary!! And what’s even more fun is that you have a whole month (from Jan 5th to Feb 5th) to try different restaurants in the Old Port!
What it is: a whole month where you can try a table d’hôte menu from various restaurants in Montreal’ Old Port at a reduced price, either 23, 26 or 30$ for a three course meal. Who said fancy couldn’t be inexpensive?!
What’s new this year? In addition to the ‘classics’ that you may have tried in the previous editions of Happening Gourmand, like BEVO, Modavie, Suite 701, etc., this year you will be able to try the new restaurant Maggie Oakes! Also, for each table d’hôte served, all participating restaurants will donate 1$ to the association Dans La Rue, which helps young people who are homeless or in a precarious situation. Eat well and do good!
