My Spring Empties | What I Used Up in One Season

This spring, I used up quite a few products from my project pan and also so many mini-sized products that I had forgotten about!! Overall, I am quite happy with my effort to declutter my home AND my apartment (my things are mostly with me in Quebec City but I still keep a few things at my parents’ home in Montreal).

Hopefully, I can continue decluttering my skincare and makeup collection over the summer as I have quite a few things that will expire soon :O

Here is what I used up last season:

Skincare:

Arbonne Daily self-adjusting shampoo with tea tree oil. I talked about this product here.

Kariderm Hand cream. Another product from my Project Pan 2018 that I used up, yay!

Frutose Face care apple hydrosol. Read my review of this product here.

Arbonne aromassentials Unwind bath & shower gel. I loved the smell of this product and am so sad that it’s discontinued 😦 I hope Arbonne makes a similar product soon!

Victoria’s Secret Sheer Love hydrating body lotion. I am usually not a fan of VS’s skincare line because it usually smells too sweet or too strong for me, but this product smelled heavenly! I even consider treating myself to the full size 🙂

Philosophy Peppermint Stick hand cream. Smelled a little too strong for me, even though I love peppermint!

Écoderma cinnamon & chai detoxifying body scrub. In LOVE with this scent!! The scrub not only helps get rid of dead cells, it is also nicely hydrating! Will repurchase next winter.

The Body Shop deep sleep essential oil. I loved adding a few drops of this to my bath after a long stressful day, it smelled very nice!

Écoderma lemon & lavender unwinding bath salts. This year, I rediscovered my love for bath salts, thanks to Écoderma!! And those mini sizes are just too cute :O

Écoderma calming bath milk in eucalyptus & matcha, and lavender. Loved both of these scents and the product felt very hydrating on my skin. Sadly, I do not have a bath in my apartment so I won’t repurchase these for now 😦

-Mary Kay timewise age-fighting eye cream. I honestly don’t know how to review the “age-fighting” aspect of this cream, but it was nicely hydrating.

-Sephora instant moisturizer. An excellent moisturizer that smells very fresh and is not too light, not too thick.

-Yves Rocher shower gel in organic oats, and marvelous berries. I love Yves Rocher’s shower gels: they produce a nice thick foam, smell amazing, and are budget-friendly!

-Crabtree & Evelyn Rosewater hand therapy. Loved this smell but my cream was getting really, really old!

L’Occitane firming and soothing supple skin oil in Amande. Love the scent and this is so hydrating! A real skin-saviour in winter!

Makeup:

Hourglass Veil mineral primer.Love the fancy glass packaging and how light this primer is. Not a fan of the spatula inside the primer though, but then again this is just a sample size.

Laura Mercier Eyebrow pencil in “Brunette”. This took me forever to use up because the shade is a little too warm for me (my hair is dark brown, nearly black). But the formula is great.

Benefit Gimme Brow in “Medium/Deep”. Again, since my eyebrows are nearly black, this didn’t do anything for me except hold my brows in place. I prefer to use a transparent gel though, but I usually just draw my eyebrows in my powder or a pencil.

Have you tried any of these products? What are you currently trying to use up?
