We’ve all heard about Korean beauty products revolutionizing the skincare industry, but can you name a few top-selling brands? I sure couldn’t until last Saturday!

I’ve wanted to get my hands on Korean skincare for quite some time, but I honestly didn’t know where to start: what brands to try, where to buy them, etc. And on top of that, most labels only contain text in Korean… Discovering K-beauty seemed impossible! 🙁

A lovely discovery event around Korean beauty products

Thankfully, Skinvestmentcame to the rescue on Saturday, May 19! For the occasion, I was invited as well as a dozen influencers/bloggers to an afternoon session of discovering Tawainese and Korean beauty products. We received a ton of information on skincare products, rituals, and trends.

The event was organized in collaboration with the lovely ladies of Daint (a K-beauty online shop and non-subscription box) and Miirushop (an online shop for T-beauty products).

Carmen from Daint shared her insight on K-beauty trends and dos and don’ts, while Eden from Miirushop conducted a mindful masking session. I had never experienced this before, but it was magical: it consists of meditating while you have a sheet mask on your face! Isn’t it the best thing ever?!

I had so much fun at this event! In my 4 years of blogging, I can safely say this was one of the best events I attended, if not the best: it was well-organized, incredibly informative, I met inspiring entrepreneur ladies, and I got to make new blogger friends!
