Rediscover beauty with ease. Uninhibited, relaxed. This is the philosophy behind Sans-Façon, a company founded in 2021 by Andréanne Marquis (entrepreneur behind the clothing brand Womance). The brand offers a simplified range of timeless beauty essentials. Sans-Façon does not sell flamboyant or trendy makeup, which is often the case in the beauty industry. Sans-Façon in 3 words: minimalist, committed and transparent.
The idea is to offer a natural and accessible beauty routine that resembles us and highlights our skin and features. Among the products offered are makeup tools, makeup, skincare and more. All products are vegan and made in Canada.

I had the chance and the pleasure to discover Sans-Façon’s makeup essentials. Let me introduce you to each of them, then I’ll show you the look I created with all the products!
The blush and highlighter duo
The blush and highlighter duo includes a rosy, peachy blush and a champagne highlighter. Each can be worn alone or layered for an ultraglowy look. The blush is very pigmented and looks super pretty as an eye shadow too. This is the perfect duo to have on hand!
The mascara
The Sans-Façon mascara is a classic, in a non-waterproof version. It does not run and will stay set throughout the day. It can easily be removed without irritating the eyes. The curved brush coats each eyelash with mascara for a natural or a more dramatic look, if you layer the product. It dries quickly, does not clump and does not crumble.
The makeup sponge
The latex-free makeup sponge is a must in a beauty bag! By using it wet, it provides perfect coverage and an impeccable finish to the foundation. It also facilitates the application of the complexion corrector, for long-lasting hold.
The foundation
The foundation offers a light and comfortable tinted veil that lets the skin breathe while giving it a luminous finish. Coverage is light to medium, and you can apply an additional layer for more coverage. The foundation contains glycerin to hydrate and protect, aloe leaf essence (anti-inflammatory and hydrating), and safflower oil to hydrate and soften the skin. The finish is satin: it’s your skin, but better!

Loose powder
The Sans-Façon loose powder is available in a tinted or translucent version. It helps perfect and prolong the hold of makeup. The powder lightly mattifies the skin without giving it a dull appearance. The container has an integrated powder puff, which is very practical. It’s a must-have in your makeup bag!
The concealer
The concealer is the best seller at Sans-Façon! It can be used as a concealer or to cover small details that you don’t want to show in broad daylight. As its texture is dense, it offers high coverage and lasts all day.
The concealer brush
The concealer brush is, as its name suggests, the perfect tool for applying your concealer. It is possible to moisten the brush for lighter application (the same principle as with the makeup sponge). With the brush, it is important to tap the product rather than stretch the material to ensure optimal coverage.
The lip gloss
The lip gloss is translucent, non-sticky and very versatile: it can be worn alone or over your favourite lipstick. I’m not usually a fan of glosses, but this one: wow! It smells good, feels light on the lips (it’s like you’re wearing nothing!) and is hydrating. An essential to have on hand at all times!
The perfume
The Sans-Façon perfume is a must-have that will please many! It is a floral scent, with a fruity touch. The pear note at the top offers a delicately fruity opening, while the scent of white flowers at the heart combines with organic notes, revealing an airy and feminine scent. To me, the smell is reminiscent of clean laundry drying next to a field of flowers, nothing less. Try it and you’ll love it!
