Ahhh Valentine’s Day… The celebration that isn’t really a celebration but that every single company is SO eager to sell to us. Seriously, the amount of “Valentine’s Day discounts” emails I get from companies is ridiculous! And pointless! However, I love that February 14 is becoming an occasion to celebrate all kinds of love. It is no longer only for couples but also for anyone who wishes to celebrate their love/affection for their friends, their families (chosen or not), and of course their pets! <3 Not matter how you celebrate (or not) this year, here’s a glamourous makeup look for Valentine’s Day.

Shimmery makeup look for Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day

No matter what you have planned on that day – and even if you are just staying inside to watch a movie-, here’s a very simple and glam makeup look that I think is perfect for the occasion. And any occasion when you want to feel cute and glam!

This is a natural glam look, with soft champagne pink tones, and nothing too dramatic: delicate false lashes, a thin winged liner, and nude lips. Let your natural beauty shine!

The focus is on the eyes, with a very soft warm brown eyeshadow in the crease and glitter applied all over the lid. A very thin winged liner and delicate false lashes were added to make the eyes look extra glam and give the look a romantic vibe.

The highlight I used on my face (Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in “Celestial”) is very similar to the shimmer I used on the eyes (Make Up For Ever Star Powder in “Iridescent Pale Peach”), so the whole makeup comes together nicely.

On the lips, I applied a matte nude lipstick and a sheer gloss in order to keep the whole look subtle and glam, while not taking away the focus from the eyes.

20 min tops and you are ready to walk out the door and let the world see your fabulous self – or take 1000 selfies to remind yourself how cute you looked with that makeup look! 😉
