My Spontaneous e.l.f. Haul: Brushes and More

Elf Haul

When it comes to makeup (and many other things), cheaper is sometimes better, at least for your wallet. With so many beauty brands out there with so many different price ranges, it becomes a complicated task to choose what to buy from which company. I had never tried e.l.f. before but I heard good things from them. I decided it was time to try out a few products, including elf brushes as they are so affordable!

My elf brushes set

I bought the Silver 11 Piece Brush Collection, for eyes, lips and face.

It includes pretty much any brush you need to do your makeup. It includes eyeshadow brushes, complexion brushes, an angled brush, a fan brush, a blending brush, precision brushes, a concealer brush, a blush brush, an eyebrow duo brush, … They come in a nice silver case, with dividers to keep the brushes in order.

The brushes are quite good honestly. I find that I don’t reach out for the kabuki or the fan brush but the eyeshadow brushes I use a lot. If you are looking to grow your brushes collection and are looking for an affordable option, I would recommend trying this silver set from elf.

Selfie Ready Foundation Blurring Brush

Made with ultra fine synthetic fibers, this dome-shaped brush is perfect applying foundation, and creates a flawless finish.

Illuminating Palette

These pans are HUGE!! The palette includes 4 different shades and there’s a nice, large mirror inside. The powders are infused with vitamin E and argan oil to hydrate the skin.

Gifts with purchase

As a gift with my order, I also received the ‘summer beauty kit’, which includes:

Blush in “tickled pink”

There’s a lot of product in there, which is exactly how I like my blushes! The packaging reminds me a lot of Nars’, but it’s cheaper looking.

Angled Blush Brush

The slanted shape and the soft and dense bristles are perfect for applying blush and even for contouring.

Eye Refresh

I’m a big fan of rollerball eye products that depuff under eyes. Dark circles and puffiness are my main concerns and I love that e.l.f.’s product is infused with ingredients to hydrate and nourish the skin (think: pomegranate, rosemary, green tea, cucumber and grape).

Gotta Glow Lip Tint

This product is said to react with the chemistry of your lips change their colour. In my case, the lip tint slightly darkened my lip colour, but what I like the most about it is the gel-based formula: it glides like butter!! It also feels very hydrating, as it is infused with shea butter.

Getting full-sized products as a gift is always great, and getting a makeup brush for FREE is simply wow! Good job e.l.f. and thanks for spoiling us! However, there is no “free shipping with orders” option, but shipping was fairly cheap (2,55$). Also, prices include taxes so it is easier to estimate your total. So far, I am quite satisfied with my products and I looove the softness of the brushes!

I will definitely be ordering more products from e.l.f! Any recommendation?
