I picked the style Peacock, which is a mix of glittery gold-tipped nails and colourful, watercolour-like nails. What drew me immediately is the shades of blue that almost seem to be dripping from the nail. I just love how it looks super edgy yet glam next to the gold and translucent nails. It’s the perfect chic and modern manicure!

How to apply press-on nails at home

It’s super easy and requires very little time and material! All you have to do is this :

-Clean and shape your natural nail.

Choose a Re-Nail for each of your fingers by comparing them to your natural nail bed. You can check the numbered size printed on the back of each nail to help you select the correct size.

-Apply a small dot of glue to your natural nail and spread it before pressing the selected Re-Nail onto it. First, line the Re-Nail to your cuticle at an angle, then press down.

-Apply firm pressure to the nail for 30 seconds. Shape, paint or customize the Re-Nail if desired.

-For longer wear, apply glue to both your natural nail and the Re-nail when applying. For shorter wear, apply a smaller amount of glue close to the cuticle.

I applied a little bit of glue to the center of my nail before spreading it all over. I wore the nails for an entire day and was able to easily remove them at night. This product is so versatile: easy to apply, easy to remove, voilà! Also, they won’t damage your natural nails at all.

How to remove the nails in order to wear them again

The whole concept of press-on nails is that they can be worn several times. In order to do so, removing them is a crucial step that needs a little extra attention.

-Soak your nails in hot water to soften your natural nails and the glue.

Gently lift the Re-Nail off your natural nail from the sides. Do not force it. If they resist, wear them for another day before trying again.

-Dry, store and reuse for later!

Overall, I am very happy with my Peacock nails! I got so many compliments and they look particularly fabulous. I felt like I was Lady Gaga for a short period of time! It doesn’t get more glamorous than that 😉

I’m very excited to wear them again, probably for a special occasion, and will certainly order another set such as this one or this one. My only advice: file the nails a little more than I did. Otherwise, if you are not used to them, it can be a little hard to manage long nails.
