We all know that fruit is good to eat, but did you know that it is also beneficial for your skin? With a philosophy such as “The power of fruit for the benefit of beauty“, it is clear that Frutose Cosmetics wants you to include fruit in your skincare routine.

The brand offers vegan and all-natural fruit-derived beauty products, and they are “formulated with several vitamins, minerals, nutrients, antioxidants, essential fatty acids and delicious fruit extracts”. Their products are highly nutritive and they truly smell amazing.

I received 3 items from Frutose in order to test and review them: I got an apple hydrosol, a fruit oil, and a fruit mask. Let’s jump right into the review!

The apple hydrosol

The product is 98% fruit-derived. It smells like freshly cut apples, which is quite unique and also relaxing. The hydrosol is hydrating and feels very fresh on the face. I love using this product first thing in the morning and even at night.

The fruit oil

Frutose designed 7 different fruit oils so that your skin can have different nutrients for every day of the week! Isn’t that brilliant? I received the cherry oil and surprisingly, the product slightly smells like the fruit! It is highly hydrating but is not sticky and doesn’t leave the skin feeling super oily. You can use this oil even on hot summer days, yay!

The fruit mask

This product is not only adorable, but it is also super useful! In fact, this mask is my absolute favourite product from Frutose Cosmetics and it even has become a daily essential! Not a day goes by that I don’t use this mask first thing in the morning!

I am not a morning person so when I have to wake up early on workdays, I have awfully puffy eyes, so this mask is a saviour! I keep it in the fridge and apply it on my closed eyes early in the morning, and then I follow with a caffeine-based product for a full wide-awake look. The cold mask works like magic to de-puff my eyes!

This mask is also super useful for when you have a headache! It’s the perfect 2 in 1!

Overall, I think Frutose Cosmetics’s products are great, the packaging is neat and cute, and the scents are subtle but nice. I would recommend trying these, and especially if you can get your hands on their fruit oils kit!
